Congrats on a fabulous piece of software, Mariner! I've been using for a few months now (in beta) and it shows what can become of a critical piece of software for many when a PROFESSIONAL software developer gets their hands on it.
Nice job - I look forward to many years as a happy customer!

Happy to help out, William. Thanks for your support.

I've watched the growth of Mariner the past few years and can't wait to see what else is in the pipeline. I'm a happy Mariner Write, MacJournal, and Montage customer and can safely say they are the most used apps in my dock. If you are taking suggestions, what the Mac world needs is a database. Fimemaker is too much or many people and AppleWorks is kaput. Give it some thought!

14 months? That's nothing! Windows Vista has been in the works for over 5 years and it STILL isn't out! But this isn't news to any of us, is it?
When I first wrote EdenGraph (a graphing calculator), it took 17 months from the time I started to the time 1.0 was released...but that was also a lot of part time coding.
One thing I find interesting about the previous Anonymous's comments is how they are using a lot of these writing and composing programs, which seems to lead to a good trend for Mariner Software. By having programs that are in a similar vein, if Customer X buys one application, perhaps they might be interested in another program also by the company.
Mariner has a word processor and a spreadsheet, and someone suggested a DB app (maybe a front end to MySQL or Postgresql?), but how about a replacement for AppleWorks Draw and Paint programs. Hey, need a programmer for that?
