and the App Store party continues...

Yesterday we saw Mariner Calc 1.0 for iPad get posted in the App Store! Frankly I have no idea how Calc will hold up since Apple hasn't let developers get their hands on any iPads for development and testing. We think Calc will be stable but until we can actually test with hardware, we are just speculating. That said, we are totally stoked to be one of the first developers to have an app in the App Store on Grand Opening Day!

I have Calc and it is great. One feature that would help tremendously would be the ability to read and save to google docs. I thought it had the feature already, and perhaps I am lucky and just don't see it yet. Any word on Write? Pages suffers from the same I can't open anything and save anywhere difficulties, thus my purchasing calc over numbers.
Tutorial for iPad version of calc tells u all wonderful things u can do, but software will not allow you to setup the way tutorial describes. So I am either incredibly stupid or none of this works as advertised

Hi John-
Google compatibility is definitely on our radar! Write is moving along, albeit slowly.
Hi Jim-
Drop a line to support@marinersoftware.com. Those folks can help you out.

Please make it possible to edit and then email back a calc file as an .xls, this make Calc the replacement for numbers that cannot do that, as it is your no better than numbers. I can't open from email and then reply with mods.
